When your pet becomes suddenly unwell or in the event of an emergency, timely diagnostic test results are critical for assisting your veterinarian in devising the best effective treatment strategy. We have cutting-edge hospital laboratory technology that can generate test results in a matter of minutes.

Blood or urine samples from your pet may be obtained for point-of-care or reference lab tests. Point-of-care tests are those that are performed right in our hospital so that we can acquire results and therapeutic suggestions as quickly as possible. When a test cannot be performed using the hospital’s lab equipment or when test results are not required immediately, lab samples may need to be sent to off-site laboratories (reference laboratories).

We use microscopy to analyze lab samples such as ear swabs, skin scrapes and imprints, and needle biopsies of malignancies.
